This course aims at introducing non-finance managers to cost measurement, the costing process of costing and the value chain, costing methods, cost distribution between departments. Equipped with this knowledge, they will be able to perform effective monitoring and control of the company's operations. At the end of the course participants should be able to prepare operating budgets and apply basic variances analysis, having compared budgeted with actual performance.
