Learning Outcomes
The objectives of the course are to:
1) Present fundamental knowledge on the structure and content of financial statements and show non-finance managers how to read accounting information and carrying out basic financial analysis;
2) Acquaint participants with the basic concepts of financial statements such as assets, liabilities, owners' equity, revenue, and expenses and with the criteria used to evaluate them and get them recognized;
3) Acquaint participants with the various methods used in analyzing company financial statements and help them understand financial ratios;
Having achieved these learning outcomes non-finance managers, who do not possess specialized knowledge in finance and accounting, will gain a good sense of the financial condition of their companies, and be able to make informed and better decisions in regard to operations, and the finance and investment activities of their respective firms.
