Although we may not be aware we are negotiating on a daily basis, about almost anything, and with almost every one.
 
For minor issues our experience and intuition are sufficient to cope well. But when important business negations are concerned, we cannot count on chance. Then it is of key importance to know the principles behind conducting successful negotiations: to be able to prepare effectively, to consider the psychology of the process, to select the style suitable for each situation, to build our own strategy and carry it out using the right techniques, to apply adequate counter tactics, interpret body language, and take into account intercultural issue when applicable. All of these are essential and it is usually small things that make the big difference.
 
This course does not take it upon itself to reinvent the wheel. But it will help you structure your knowledge and find the missing links so that you can gain a comprehensive understanding of the process of business negotiations and appreciate their complexity.
